On Friday, March 19, Chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee hosted the league's annual awards banquet. Each of the league champions were honored as well as the Hall of Fame inductees and Spirit of the Game award winners. Photos from the event can be seen here.

July 25: Cardinals hold off Seadog push with comeback win in the bottom of the ninth 6-5. Jay Lee led the way for the Cards with the game winning hit, plating the tying and game winning runs with two outs.  Scott Archambault chipped in with two hits.  Ryan Lauriat pitched well for the Cards, going six strong with Tom Lawrenson in relief.

June 27: Rick Machado  pitched five-hit (all singles), one-run (unearned) ball through seven innings and  Mert Caton closed it out with two innings of no-hit, no-run ball to lead the Red Sox over the Yankees 7 to 1 at Burr Park in Warren. Jim Cooney was 3-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs.  Joe Perruzzi was 2-4 with 2 RBI and two runs and Rick Machado was 2-4 with a double and 3 RBI in leading the Sox to victory. Fred Harrington was 2-3 for the Yankees.

June 20: Mike King threw a complete game as the Black Sox defeated the Dodgers 6-3. Down 2-1, Greg McGee's bases-loaded double in the 7th inning drove in three runs and gave the Black Sox the lead for good.

June 19: Ted Kaiser singled in the game winning run for the Mets in the bottom of the ninth against the Seadogs in a 5-4 victory. The Mets got the inning started with a hard-hit single by AJ Lee and a perfectly played hit and run by Lance Oliveira. Mike Martino walked to load the bases when TK came through with the game-ender. Jay Lawrence pitched seven strong innings for the Mets and Greg Sion earned the win in relief. Eric Yankee added three hits for the Mets. Derek Quigley went the distance and took the hard-luck loss for the Seadogs.

June 12: The Marlins' Lee Andrews and the Red Sox Mert Caton and Rick Machado locked up in a taut pitcher's duel with first place at stake at Gagne, with Andrews and the Marlins prevailing 3-2.  Andrews scattered seven hits with one earned run, and Mert Caton allowed just four hits and two unearned runs with 5 Ks for the Sox. Rick Machado took the hard luck loss for the Sox allowing one unearned run in the bottom of the eighth on an RBI single by Jimmy Dexter who was 3-4 with a run scored for the Marlins. The Marlins' Brian Bowen had a two-run single in the sixth to tie the game at two. Steve Readey was 2-3 with an RBI for the Red Sox.

June 12: On a slightly rainy day at URI, Marc Beaulieu held the Colt 45s to two runs over six strong innings and Brian Bowen came in and closed it out for a 7-3 win for the Marlins.  Bob Sweeney went 3-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored, Steve Pexioto, Marc Beaulieu, Todd Guevremont and Bob Sirpenski each had two hits for the Marlins.  Mike Goodson had three hits for the Colt 45s and Robotson and Topp each had two.  It was a close game all the way with Randy Debross making a great sliding catch in center field and throwing the runner out at second to quell a rally in the seventh to seal the victory for the Marlins

June 6: Jim Anderson struck out six and went the distance as the Mets beat the Warriors 8-7, in the bottom of the ninth. Matt Wojcik led off with an HBP, stole second and scored on Ted Kaiser's hard line drive to left. A Mike Martino single led to Tom Lawrenson laying down a perfect sacrifice bunt to get the winning run to third. AJ Lee scored the winning run on a wild pitch.

June 6: Mert Caton limited the Yankees-50 to just four singles and one earned run over six innings and Rich Machado closed out the game with three scoreless innings to lead the Red Sox to a 9-2 win at Pierce field. Caton was 3-4 with 3 R, Machado was 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI, 1R and Jim Cooney had two long doubles, 2 RBI and 2 R to pace the Yankee offense. Matt Medeiros was 3-3 for the Yanks.

May 30: Rich Pacino held a tough Yankees team to one run on three hits Sunday at Gagne.  The Marlins' Randy Dubross, George Kirby, Bob Bates and Tim Hickey had two hits each and drove in runs.  The game was very close until Steve Lopes hit a big three-run homer late in the game to seal the 10-1 win for the Marlins.

May 30: Rick Machado held the potent Marlins-50 to one run in hurling the complete-game win as the Red Sox moved into a tie for first place with a 6-1 win at Gagne. Steve Keenan (3-3, 2B, 2 R), Joe Peruzzi (3-4, 2 R), Clyde Britt (2-3, 2 RBI) and Jack Kaveny (2-4, 1 R) paced the Red Sox 14-hit attack. Brian Bowen was 3-3 and Mike Fortin 2-4 with two doubles for the Marlins.

May 25: Dan Dillon had a stellar performance going the distance for the Riptide with twelve strikeouts in beating the Seadogs 11-5. Dillon also had a good day at the plate with two hits. Carl Allaire added two doubles and an RBI. Tony Paola had a good day at the plate with two hits and three RBI. Dave Desante went 3 for 4 with three RBI.

May 23: Ryan Lauriat goes the distance and the Cardinals bat around in the fifth inning with two outs. Leading the way with two hits a piece were Scottie Archambault, Mike MacKay and Tony Parnos, but it was a total Cardinal team effort today in defeating the Black Sox, 6-3.

May 23: Steve Readey (3-4, 2 2B), Joe Perruzzi (3-4, 2B, 3 RBI), Mert Caton and Rick Machado (both 2-4) and Ed Vescera (2B, 2RBI) paced the Red Sox offense.

May 23: Jay Lawrence pitched 7 1/3 strong innings and Eric Yankee was 3-3 in leading the Mets over Los Toros 6-4. Frank D'Allesandro added two hits for the winners

May 23: Steven Visinho took a shutout into the 8th and struck out eight in leading Brothers Oven to a 4-2 win over Lama & Sons

May 22: Behind a solid defense and pitching performances from starter Doug Benoit and reliever Matt Bednarz, the Sea Dogs-35 defeated RIRA 11-1 at Rhode Island College. Benoit and Bednarz held RIRA to 3 hits, while walking 5. On offense, the Sea Dogs were led by Benoit, Derek Quigley and Kevin Curt, each with multi hit games. Quigley's double in the 4th broke open a close game to that point. Bednarz's three- run double in the 6th put the game out of reach.

May 22: In a hard fought, well played game, the Dodgers beat the Black Sox 5-3 at Gagne Field.  Andrew Sweeney pitched 8.1 innings of six-hit ball for the win. "LB" Leblanc led the attack with three hits.  Paul Rioles knocked in three runs and Mike Casavant added another with a sacrifice fly in support of Sweeney.  Frank Ribezzo sealed the win with a diving grab of a ball off the bat of Greg McGee in left-center field with the tying and go-ahead runs on base.

May 19: Ryan Tainsh pitched seven strong innings giving up one unearned run and struck out 11. Matt Wojcik would provide all the offense the Cardinals would need with a two-RBI single in the second inning scoring Tony Parnos and Wayne Martin.

May 15: Rick Machado hurled the complete game win in leading the Yankees-45 over the Marlins at Gagne. Scott Owens was 4-5, Dom Coro was 3 for 4,  and Jim Cooney and Scott Tainsh both had 2 hits, a double, 2 R and an RBI for the Yanks

May 15: Mert Caton pitched a complete-game two-hitter (both singles) adding seven strikeouts, and was 3-3 with two runs scored to lead the Red Sox over the Yankees. Sol Yas (2 RBI), Billy Conley (2 RBI), Ed Vescera (double, 2 RBI) and Jim Cooney (double , 1 R, 1 RBI) all had two hits for the Sox and Steve Readey was 3-3 with 3 RBI and 2 RS.

May 2: Marlins Rich Bowen and Brian Bowen (unrelated but equally effective) combined to shut down the potent Red Sox offense in a 12-5 win.. Both Bowens, along with leadoff hitter Steve Pexioto and clean-up hitter Mike Fortin paced the Marlins offense with multi-hit games, including RBI doubles. Jim Cooney had a three-run bases-clearing double to give the Sox an early 5-3 lead.

May 2: John Maloney spun five innings of stellar relief and Nick Gregory singled in the eventual winning run as the game ends on a 5-2-3 double play with the bases loaded, as the Cardinals earn the 6-5 win over RiRa

May 2: Los Toros were winning by two runs in the bottom of the 8th when Kerwin started the inning with a solo shot to put the Warriors within a run. Later, the Warriors rallied to tie the game at 5. In the top of the 9th with two out and two on, Waldy Rodriguez hit a 3-run homer to put Los Toros on top for the win.  Robin Sime pitched a complete game.

May 1: Tyler Martin hit a walk off three-run home run to lift the Sea Dogs past the Dodgers, 11-10.
